Goodbye to Dark Spots

Puberty is a real fun stage in our lives but as our body ages and changes, we also encounter different unwanted occurrences that may be visible and may be irritating in our eyes.

One common thing is the dark spots that can be seen from all over our body but most commonly on the shoulders, forearms, back of the hands and on the face.

Excessive exposure to the sun will of course darken your skin. Also, some particular diseases like melasma and acne can also cause this because once these skin breakouts dry out it can cause discoloration. Medications which include estrogens and tetracyclines can also be a reason for this phenomenon.

What you can do is to apply lemon juice on the spots which are really affected because it cleans and bleaches the dark spots. It is already a proven remedy for this. Castor oil and taking vitamin E orally will really help as well and you can see quite a favorable result when you continuously take this overtime.

When you are about to be exposed to the sun make sure you use a sunscreen lotion because it can help the prevention or worsening of the said problem. Apply an SPF15 which blocks UVB and UVA rays coming from the sun. Give 30 minutes after application before you go out to the sun. Let your skin absorb the lotion.

Always bear in mind that the sun is at its hottest (which means most damaging) from 10:00 in the morning up to 4:00 in the afternoon. It is always best to treat any skin problem naturally.
